Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent industry experience.
  • 8+ years of project management experience in the low voltage or systems integration industry.
  • Proven track record of leading large, complex integration projects across multiple vertical markets (life sciences, defense, healthcare, education, commercial).
  • Deep knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, audio-visual, structured cabling, and network infrastructure.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets exceeding $1M.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • PMP certification or equivalent senior project management credential is strongly preferred.

Position Title: Senior Project Manager – Low Voltage Systems Integration

Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager at NSW Integrated Systems provides leadership and oversight for large-scale, complex low voltage systems integration projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. The Senior Project Manager also serves as a mentor to Project Managers and Project Coordinators, contributes to process improvement initiatives, and represents NSW with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

This is a hybrid position, requiring a regular presence in the office while allowing for partial work from a home office as scheduled and approved by management. Occasional travel to job sites, client meetings, and vendor locations is required to oversee project milestones and maintain engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple large, high-value portfolios and/or projects simultaneously from initiation through closeout.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the project point of contact for clients, providing communication and relationship management.
  • Conduct client meetings to review project performance, address challenges, and identify opportunities for additional business.
  • Represent NSW’s reputation for integrity, service, and excellence in every client interaction.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Field Supervisors.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new project management staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the project management team.
  • Review project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
  • Ensure accurate change order management, invoicing, and subcontractor payment processes.
  • Partner with leadership to drive overall project profitability.

Process Improvement & Strategy

  • Contribute to the refinement of NSW’s project management methodologies and standards.
  • Identify areas for efficiency, quality improvement, and scalability across operations.
  • Partner with the Business Development team to support new opportunities by providing project insights, technical expertise, and client-facing engagement during the pre-sales process.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term operational strategies and resource planning.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard business hours with flexibility based on project deadlines and workload.
  • Competitive salary $115,000-$140,000 annually (DOE)
