Qualifications

10 years of combined low voltage systems and PM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and manage multiple low voltage projects from initiation through completion.
Develop comprehensive project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.

Job Description

The Low Voltage Systems Project Manager will serve as the cornerstone of our project delivery team, orchestrating complex infrastructure installations from initial planning through final commissioning. You will collaborate closely with technicians, installers, subcontractors, and the operations management team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager or Director of Engineering.

Duties And Responsibilities

Coordinate effectively with clients, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors

Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
Ensure all installations comply with local codes, industry standards (NEC, NFPA), and manufacturer requirements
Oversee system testing, commissioning, and final acceptance procedures

Required Experience/Skills

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
5+ years of hands-on experience in low voltage systems or related field
3+ years of proven project management experience
10 years of combined low voltage systems and PM experience would be preferred
Strong knowledge of low voltage systems including security, fire alarm, telecommunications, and A/V systems
Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
Solid understanding of electrical codes and industry standards
Experience with CAD software and blueprint reading
Knowledge of network infrastructure and IP-based systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
