Job summary

Connectivity Network Cabling is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Project Manager in Concord, NC to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of low voltage installation projects such as structured cabling, security systems, CCTV, AV, and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, site inspections, and ensuring code compliance. Travel to job sites may be required; strong PM and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in low voltage, electrical, or systems integration.
• Working knowledge of structured cabling, security/access control, CCTV, and/or AV systems.
• Strong understanding of construction workflows, blueprints, and low voltage code requirements.
• Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, Smartsheet) and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to pass a full background check with no prior records.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of low voltage projects, from pre-construction planning through closeout and final inspection.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; track progress against milestones.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to identify potential issues before installation.
• Order materials and manage inventory/equipment logistics for job sites.
• Supervise and support field technicians and installation crews; ensure work meets code and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and workmanship.
• Manage project budgets, including cost tracking, change orders, and invoicing.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular status updates and resolving issues quickly.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and industry standards (BICSI, NFPA, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, as-builts, and closeout packages.

The ideal candidate has hands-on low voltage industry experience combined with strong project management skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• BICSI, NICET, or similar industry certification preferred

Preferred Experience

• Background in the electrical, telecommunications, or security industry
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical/low voltage system drawings
• OSHA 10/30 certification
