Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in low voltage commercial and residential settings.
- 3+ years experience of fire alarm installation.
- Able to read blueprints, schematics.
- Must possess strong troubleshooting skills.
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Must have PPE equipment.
- Able to stoop, crawl, bend, kneel and lift heavy objects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate layout and installation of Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Nurse Call buttons.
- Read drawings, blueprints, along with alarm components to ensure systems function correctly.
- Perform inspections to ensure alarms are installed according to code.
- Pull wire and cable through conduits and raceways according to project specifications.
- Knowledge of Cat 5 and 6 wiring.
- Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues.
- Must have knowledge of NEC codes.
