Job summary

Adams, Inc. is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Electrician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. You will work with fire alarm, CCTV, access control, intercoms, and structured cabling, following NEC and NFPA standards.

The role requires 2–5+ years of relevant experience, NICET certification preferred, and a valid driver's license. Compensation ranges $30–$40 per hour with first shift schedule and benefits including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical school preferred.
• NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred; company will sponsor after employment.
• 2–5+ years of relevant low voltage electrical experience.
• Strong understanding of NEC and NFPA codes.
• OSHA 10/30 certification a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, inspect, and maintain low voltage systems including fire alarm systems.
• Work with CCTV, access control, intercoms, and other low voltage applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Ensure NFPA-compliant fire alarm installations and upgrades.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients for project execution.
• Comply with local and national codes in all work performed.
