Job summary

AMPAM seeks a Foreman to lead low voltage wiring installations on large-scale California projects. You will inspect Wireman/Installers, coordinate with trades, and ensure work aligns with approved plans and safety standards.

Responsibilities include testing LAN cabling, installing fire/life-safety devices, and maintaining site records while coordinating crews and attending client meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience with low voltage wiring installation and testing
• Ability to read and interpret plans/layouts
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to regulations
• Coordination of multiple trades on site
• Documenting work and maintaining records

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect Wireman/Installers work on site
• Ensure installation of voice, data, video and fire devices aligns with plans
• Test, certify and troubleshoot LAN cabling systems
• Coordinate pathways, hangs and spaces for low voltage wiring
• Maintain safety and report any non-compliant work
• Attend meetings and communicate with builders and trades
• Manage timesheets and payroll-related duties
• Record changes and maintain as-built redline plans
• Order materials and ensure on-site availability
