Job summary

AMPAM is seeking a Low-Voltage Foreman in San Diego to supervise the installation of low‑voltage cabling on multifamily and commercial projects. You will inspect work by Wiremen/Installers, address issues with the crew, and ensure adherence to project plans and safety standards.

The Foreman coordinates with trades, maintains plan integrity with red-line updates, and oversees testing and commissioning of voice, data, video, and Fire Devices systems on site.

Responsibilities

Plan and initiate projects at the Foreman level.
Understand and follow site plans, adhering to construction regulations.
Install underground voice, data, video and Fire Devices feeders to facilities.
Determine pathways, hangers and spaces for installing low voltage wiring.
Install, terminate and test wires and cables, copper and fiber-optic.
Install, test, certify and troubleshoot LAN cabling systems.
Lay out, install and verify operation of security and access control systems.
Install communications and sound distribution systems.
Provide testing, analysis and repair of video, voice and data systems.
Prefabricate systems for field installation.
