Join Our Team as a Low Voltage Service Technician II at TRL Systems, Inc.

Job Overview: You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing essential low voltage systems in commercial and secure environments.

Your Daily Responsibilities:
  • Respond to service calls for healthcare and security systems, including medical alert, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions to ensure proper operation.
  • Repair or replace faulty equipment and components.
  • Provide technical support and training to healthcare staff and security personnel.
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for seamless system operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of technical support experience with security, nurse call, and fire life safety systems (e.g., EST3, Lenel, Ascom).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts as needed.
  • Must be able to get required vaccinations/immunizations.
Additional Information:

TRL Systems conducts pre-employment drug screening and background checks in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Driving a company vehicle requires meeting specific criteria set by our insurance carrier.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Ability to drive for over 2 hours daily.
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, speak, and work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Ability to transport items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Work may involve construction sites, hospitals, and high-rise buildings.
