DataVox, Inc. is seeking a qualified Security Technician to join our Dallas-Fort Worth team. The role focuses on installing and maintaining low voltage security systems, including access control and CCTV, across the Texas Triangle area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• 5+ years of Low Voltage Security Installer/Service Tech experience.
• Ability to obtain Texas DPS Security Installer license.
• Trade school or 2-year degree in Basic Electronics preferred.
• Certifications in Genetec, Axis, Sony, Bosch Intrusion and HID VertX are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install IPC CCTV, IP Access Control, Intercom systems and related equipment.
• Install Access Control/VMS servers and UPS.
• Test installed equipment and perform basic programming like readers, users, cameras, controllers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs per manufacturers' procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair system or component level equipment.
• Complete onsite JSA and manpower reports for projects.
• Coordinate daily job site needs with management and team members.
• Conduct site commissioning and testing with Programmers.
