Job summary
Federal Protection is seeking a Low Voltage Security Installer in Kansas City, MO, for a full-time role installing security systems in financial institutions, residential, and commercial buildings. You will read blueprints, cut and route wire, and install panels and conduit while following safety policies.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, is able to work overtime, and can obtain a Class E Driver License.

- Overtime availability required.
- Must obtain a Class E Driver License.
Responsibilities
- Installs security systems in buildings.
- Reads blueprints and wiring diagrams to determine length and size of wire needed.
- Cuts wire and strips insulation from ends; connects wire to panels.
- Strings wire harness; pulls length of wire from harness at specified points to complete branch circuits.
- Run PVC and EMT conduit.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to position and employment generally.
- Accurately completes all paperwork, including timesheets, in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
