Job summary

State Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Installer to join our Memphis team. This hands-on role focuses on installation, configuration, and maintenance of low voltage systems in healthcare and life-safety environments, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

You will read blueprints, install nurse call, PA, CCTV, and related systems, test functionality, troubleshoot, and document work. A high school diploma and relevant certification are required, with 1–3 years of experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience as a low voltage installer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting cable and low voltage systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and configure healthcare-specific systems including nurse call, public address, resident wandering, infant abduction, CATV, and CCTV.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and verification to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate installations.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other trades to meet project timelines and specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service calls, and inventory.
• Provide professional customer service and clear communication with clients and team members.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
