Job summary

State Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Installer to join our Memphis, TN team. You will install, configure, and maintain a range of low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on technical experience, strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality installations that meet industry requirements. This role is on-site with a focus on healthcare-related systems and life-safety solutions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical certification in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience as a low voltage installer or similar role.
Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting cable and low voltage systems.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Install, set up, and configure healthcare-specific systems including nurse call, public address, resident wandering, infant abduction, CATV, and CCTV.
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and verification to ensure functionality and reliability.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate installations.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other trades to meet project timelines and specifications.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service calls, and inventory.
Provide professional customer service and clear communication with clients and team members.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
