Job summary

State Systems, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a hands-on Low Voltage Installer to join our team. You will install, configure, and maintain low voltage and life-safety systems, including nurse call, PA, CCTV, and related equipment, ensuring code compliance and quality workmanship.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to read schematics. Flexibility for nights and out-of-town projects is expected, with full-time on-site work and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical certification in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience as a low voltage installer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting cable and low voltage systems.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., working at heights, and using hand/power tools safely.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and out-of-town projects.

What You’ll Do

The Low Voltage Installer provides reliable, high-quality customer support through installation, configuration, and maintenance of a wide range of low voltage systems. You’ll ensure that systems perform at their best while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
