Job summary
Tech Electronics in Lenexa, KS, is seeking a qualified installer to support cabling systems and field devices for Fire Alarm, Access Control, Security, Nurse Call, and Networking. You will install and test cabling per plans, specs, scope of work, and both local and national codes, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
An Associate's Degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience is required, plus one year in electronics using AC/DC theory.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience.
- One year working in electronics using AC/DC theory daily.
- Valid state Driver's License (Class C) and maintain auto liability insurance.
- Weekend standby rotation required.
Responsibilities
- Installs cabling systems including field devices per plans, specifications and scope of work, ensuring adherence to local and national codes.
- Ensures installation quality and communicates progress with Project Manager and Technician.
- Maintains documentation and paperwork for the project and manages stock of company vehicles as needed.
- Adheres to installation and safety standards and seeks ways to improve operations and service.
