Job summary

Tech Electronics is seeking a qualified service technician to perform repair work on our low voltage life safety and communication systems at customer sites in Lenexa, KS. You will ensure repairs meet our quality standards and comply with local and national codes.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Service Supervisor, maintaining accurate paperwork, managing truck stock to improve first‑call completion, and pursuing manufacturer and industry certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a technical field or equivalent industry work experience.
• Five years working in the electronics field with AC/DC theory daily.
• Detailed knowledge of the National Electric Code and BOCA National Building Codes.
• NICET certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire system repair process at the customer site and ensure repairs meet customer needs.
• Maintain communications with the Service Supervisor throughout the service request.
• Ensure adherence to local and national codes and accurate paperwork.
• Manage truck stock to increase first call completion.
• Obtain and maintain manufacturer and industry certifications.
• Adhere to company service and safety standards.
• Suggest methods to improve operations, processes, efficiency, and service.
