Position Summary
Our team of Procedural Service Technicians build the foundation of trust and exceptional service support. They strive for unique experiences as they perform immediate equipment servicing, identify, quote, and coordinate service offerings to meet Customer needs.
The successful incumbent performs effective on-site preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, equipment modification, and installation support on complex mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic units, primarily in a hospital environment under a highly regulated, time-sensitive setting. Our technicians provide Customers with basic information, pricing, and options, focusing on clear, proactive communication during all service phases to optimize Customer operations. This role requires high adaptability and sound judgment to changing needs and demands.
They partner with cross-functional teams (Tech Support, Engineering, Service Contract Management) and escalate issues appropriately. They utilize advanced technology platforms to meet compliance-regulatory requirements, resolve troubleshooting issues, document activities, and improve the overall Customer experience.
The incumbent demonstrates fundamental skills and competence as a Trusted Advisor to STERIS Customers in maintenance and procurement of medical devices and consumable products as part of a high-performing team. This includes successful completion of STERIS technical and Customer engagement training (Achieving One of a Kind Service).
*Associates degree, related certifications, military experience, or training in technical/mechanical areas may be considered towards experience requirements.

Pay range: $47,000 - $65,625, with potential bonuses or commissions. Pay is based on factors like experience, education, certifications, and location.
