Job summary

Workhorse is seeking a Low-Voltage Component Design Release Engineer to lead the development, integration, validation, and production release of electrical modules across Workhorse vehicle platforms.

You will manage supplier interactions, define interfaces (power, grounding, comms), ensure CAN/LIN communication, and coordinate cross‑functional teams through mule, design validation, and production launch to deliver robust, market-ready systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of automotive engineering experience.
• Experience with automotive electrical modules and displays.
• Knowledge of CAN and LIN networks.
• Ability to travel to supplier and manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, integration, validation, and release of low-voltage modules.
• Define module interfaces, power, grounding, communication, inputs and outputs.
• Lead supplier evaluations and sourcing activities.
• Manage hardware, software validation and production-readiness activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
