Job summary

Adams, Inc. in Middleton, Wisconsin, seeks a Low Voltage Electrician Apprentice to learn on commercial, industrial, and residential projects including fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and structured cabling.

You will receive hands-on training from experienced technicians, gain NICET pathway exposure, and participate in company-sponsored training while building a foundation in low voltage skills for a long-term career at Adams, Inc.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and safe work practices.
• Ability to read simple blueprints and installation drawings.
• Experience with hand and power tools is a plus but training is provided.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems.
• Assist with fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and structured cabling installations.
• Pull, terminate, label, and test low voltage cabling.
• Learn to read blueprints and installation drawings.
• Work alongside experienced technicians and electricians.
• Maintain safe and organized job sites.
• Participate in technical training and professional development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

The starting pay range for this position is $18-$22 per hour depending on relevant experience and/or coursework.
