Adams, Inc. in Elkhorn, Wisconsin is seeking a Low Voltage Electrician Apprentice to join our growing Electrical Division. This role offers hands-on training on residential projects including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and structured cabling, with mentorship from experienced technicians.

You'll learn to read blueprints, pull and test low voltage cables, install lighting, and develop technical skills while advancing toward future opportunities within the ABC-WI apprenticeship programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems.
• Assist with fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and structured cabling installations.
• Pull, terminate, label, and test low voltage cabling.
• Learn to read blueprints and installation drawings.
• Work on and help install lighting systems.
• Work alongside experienced technicians and electricians.
• Maintain safe and organized job sites.
• Participate in technical training and professional development opportunities.
