Job summary

AE Works is seeking a Low Voltage Designer to join our electrical and technology engineering team. You will design and document low voltage systems for commercial, healthcare, higher education, science and technology, and public sector projects, working with engineers, architects, and BIM professionals from concept through construction administration.

The role develops in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with a clear path to greater design ownership, reporting to Electrical

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing low voltage or electrical systems in an AEC environment.
• Profi ciency with Revit and AutoCAD is required.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 72, and TIA/BICSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop low voltage design documents (plans, risers, details, schedules) for systems including data/voice, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, DAS.
• Produce coordinated drawings in Revit and AutoCAD per standards.
• Coordinate with disciplines to resolve conflicts and confirm space requirements.
