Job summary

HDR is seeking a Telecommunications/Security Designer II to design integrated low voltage systems for complex facilities. You will calculate power loads, determine UPS needs, and develop system diagrams while producing construction documents for review by project teams.

We value experience in data centers or healthcare environments, with 5+ years in low-voltage design and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of low-voltage system design experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design integrated low voltage systems.
• Calculate electrical power loads and UPS requirements, and design system diagrams.
• Prepare complete construction documents and specifications.
• Independently perform low voltage design tasks with project guidance.
• Conduct QA/QC on design work as needed.
