This contract role offers the opportunity to work with a team of technicians, read prints, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to wiring installs at client sites in the Hartford area.

Qualifications

  • Valid Connecticut low-voltage license (T or C).
  • Experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, telecom, or electrical work.
  • Experience pulling and terminating cable.
  • Comfortable working on ladders and lifts and using basic hand tools.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Install, pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling.
  • Work with Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, and other cabling.
  • Install and terminate jacks, patch panels, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair cabling issues.
  • Read basic prints, diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Follow jobsite and safety requirements.
  • Work independently and alongside other technicians.
