Company Undisclosed is seeking a Telecommunications Installer/Access Control in Bakersfield, CA. You will install and repair low voltage cabling and equipment, wire raceways, and support access control hardware to ensure secure facilities.

The role requires experience with low voltage cabling, schematics, and various terminations. You will work with hand tools daily and follow safety and quality codes in a field environment.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in low voltage cabling, oil field, or related fields.
• Familiarity with low voltage schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Familiarity with low voltage equipment and hand tools.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Cable terminations (CAT-6, CAT-6E, COAX, RJ-45)

Responsibilities

• Install and repair low voltage equipment and fixtures.
• Install Low Voltage Cabling.
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and testing on low voltage wiring and systems.
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
• Install and maintain access control hardware.
