Job summary

Network Cabling Services is seeking skilled Low Voltage Cable Technicians to join our field team in New York. You will perform structured cabling tasks per BICSI, install network cabling, fiber, and related pathways, and generate routine reports.

We value punctuality, teamwork and hands-on experience with testing gear such as Fluke DSX, OTDR, and Power Meter. Willingness to work overtime and travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

• Must have structured cabling experience and work with BICSI standards.
• Ability to install J-Hook pathways and manage cable organization.
• Familiarity with testing equipment used to certify cabling.

We are seeking Low Voltage Cable Technicians to become an integral part of our team!

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks per BICSI, local and customer standards
• Provide daily/weekly reports as required
• Typical working hours are between 7am - 5pm
• Arrive to work on time
• Overtime as needed
• Basic Hand Tools

Qualifications:

• Good work ethic, team mindset & positive attitude a must
• Must have previous Structured Cabling Experience
• Install J-Hook pathways
• Install Network cabling, Coax, Composite Wire, Fiber, Copper
• Using a Labeler
• Build out IDF Ladder Rack and Racks
• Dress bundles in groups of 24 -Using a Cable Comb
• Terminate Patch Panels
• Experience with Testing equipment, Fluke DSX, OTDR, Power Meter
• Fiber Termination / Fusion Splicing
• Troubleshooting common Cable Fails
• Troubleshooting Fiber
