Job summary

TradeWorX is seeking experienced Low Voltage Cable Technicians for a long-term commercial project in the Erie, PA area. The role covers installation, termination, testing, and maintenance of low-voltage cabling, including CAT5e and fiber, with responsibilities spanning MDF/IDF builds and IP camera systems.

Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills are essential. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in the field, can read blueprints, and operate lifts safely.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Low Voltage Cable Technician experience.
• Ability to read blueprints/site maps and perform standard low-voltage installation work.
• Operate boom and scissor lifts, work at heights, and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial low-voltage cabling systems.
• Install CAT5e/data cabling and fiber optic cabling with terminations.
• Build out MDF/IDF spaces and support systems; install IP cameras, CCTV, voice and data networks.
• Read blueprints/site maps and provide project status updates.
