Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited program
• Board-eligible or board-certified Optometrist
• Low Vision residency preferred; substantial academic/tertiary experience may substitute
• Commitment to clinical excellence in comprehensive and low vision care
• Interest in academic medicine including teaching and research
• Strong collaboration and communication in a multidisciplinary environment
• Eligible for Minnesota licensure

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye care and ocular health assessments with physicians and technicians
• Interest in Low Vision/Brain Rehabilitation is preferred
• Participation in department’s academic activities
• Work within a multidisciplinary ophthalmology team
