Mayo Clinic Florida is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible ophthalmologist with fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery to join our growing team of faculty. This is a faculty position with opportunities for research as well as teaching medical students, residents and fellows.

Qualifications

• MD degree in ophthalmology and completion of a residency.
• Fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases & surgery.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology.
• Eligible for licensure in Florida.
• Clinician scientists are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for diseases and surgeries of the posterior segment.
• Collaborate with other services to manage multidisciplinary cases.
• Participate in clinical trials and implementation of protocols.
• Engage in academic activities including teaching medical students, residents and fellows and fostering basic science and clinical research.
