Weavers Way Co-op in Philadelphia's Mt. Airy Across the Way location is hiring a Pet Clerk to join our member-owned cooperative.

This is a low-time, non-exempt role with about 19 hours weekly, offering weekend and weekday shifts and a chance to help customers find the right pet products. You will greet customers, keep shelves stocked, handle cash and card transactions, offer basic pet-care information, and collaborate with teammates to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service.
• Love of animals and pet care knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 pounds.

Join Us as a Pet Store Clerk!

Weavers Way Co-op is looking for an energetic, creative, and experienced individual to work as a Pet Clerk in our Mt. Airy/Across the Way location. This is a low-time, non-exempt position, working an anticipated 19 hours per week; Sunday AM, Monday AM and Tuesday PM. If you have experience working with pet products, a love of animals, and a desire to learn, then we want to hear from you! We are excited to have this opportunity available for the right candidate.

This position requires a focus on customer service as a top priority. Customer requests/complaints are to be addressed quickly and effectively. Although we do not sell pets at Across the Way, we welcome pets inside this store!
