Weavers Way Co-op is seeking a Pet Clerk for our Mt. Airy Across the Way location. This is a low-time, non-exempt position, anticipated at 19 hours per week with Sunday AM, Monday AM and Tuesday PM shifts. The role emphasizes customer service in a pet-focused retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in finding products for their pets.

Join Us as a Pet Store Clerk!

Weavers Way Co-op is looking for an energetic, creative, and experienced individual to work as a Pet Clerk in our Mt. Airy/Across the Way location. This is a low-time, non-exempt position, working an anticipated 19 hours per week; Sunday AM, Monday AM and Tuesday PM. If you have experience working with pet products, a love of animals, and a desire to learn, then we want to hear from you! We are excited to have this opportunity available for the right candidate.

This position requires a focus on customer service as a top priority. Customer requests/complaints are to be addressed quickly and effectively. Although we do not sell pets at Across the Way, we welcome pets inside this store!

• - Passion for animals and their well-being
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• - Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
