Position Overview
Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated LRIP Systems Engineering Lead (Senior Principal Systems Engineer) to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS Program. This role can be located out of our Tewksbury MA, Andover MA, or Pelham NH locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of SE scope as per the SOW with the LRIP Systems Engineering team.
- Maintain plan to execute SOW within cost and schedule constraints while identifying required course corrections as the execution path evolves.
- Communicate challenges and concerns effectively with Program Leadership, Office of the Chief Engineer and Customers.
- Leverage broad knowledge of the technology and concepts of radars and associated products.
- Leverage broad knowledge and understanding of the process and requirements of maintaining compliance with all export and import controls.
- Promote collaboration and drive alignment across Raytheon business units, functions and programs as well as with external partners and customers.
- Coordinate, write, and deliver technical presentations to both internal and external customers.
- Apply deep understanding of general and Raytheon specific financial metrics (e.g. bookings, sales, operating profit, and cash) and program metrics (e.g. CPI/SPI, EAC) to provide meaningful insight into business decisions and strategies.
- Prioritize and de-conflict competing tasks based on an accurate assessment of what will provide the greatest value to the business.
Requirements
Required:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience effectively leading multidisciplinary teams of systems engineering professionals.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
- U.S. security clearance (Active and existing clearance on day 1).
Preferred:
- Prior radar program leadership experience.
- Experience in developing effective relationships with customers and partners.
- Experience leading teams across multiple geographic locations.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Benefits and Compensation
- Salary range: 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD.
