Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Austin is seeking a Power and Architecture Engineer to help design GPU power features and system‑level power management. You will work with Architects, Software, ASIC Design, and Product teams to shape the power strategy for NVIDIA's GPU roadmap.

The role focuses on energy efficiency across DL training, ADAS, gaming, video playback, and idle states, using ML to build accurate power/performance models. MS/PhD in EE/CE and lab experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Knowledge of performance simulators/monitors and Low Power architectures.
• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks: TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch.
• Lab setup and measurement experience with scope/DAQ.

Responsibilities

• Architect GPU power features and system-level power management.
• Collaborate with architects, software, ASIC design, and product teams on power strategy.
• Research energy efficiency solutions for DL training, ADAS, gaming, video, and idle modes.
• Deploy ML techniques to build power/performance models of GPUs and platforms.
