Qualifications

• Rising juniors or students expected to be ready for full-time employment between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Strong programming skills in Python and either Java or C++.
• Experience with JavaScript is a plus.
• Outstanding quantitative problem-solving and mathematical aptitude.
• Able to work on a wide variety of projects (frontend/backend, different languages).

Responsibilities

• Work on scalable, low-latency trading systems and trading tools.
• Collaborate with mentors on real development projects throughout the internship.
• Support optimization and performance improvements for Virtu's trading platform.
