Job summary

DV Trading LLC seeks a Software Development Intern to join our New York office. You will work in small groups across development and trading teams to build low-latency applications and trading tools, delivering self-contained projects within our production codebase.

You’ll leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development while owning the code you ship, growing technical skills and understanding how our technology stack empowers our trading teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and expected to graduate between Winter 2027 and Summer 2028
• Proficient in one or more general purpose programming languages, including C++ and/or Python
• Ability to read and navigate an existing codebase and deliver a contained project within it
• Effective use of AI coding tools paired with the ability to critically review generated code and own its correctness
• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, ideally applied to numerical or performance-sensitive problems
• Ability to work onsite at our New York office 5 days a week

Responsibilities

• As a Software Development Intern, you'll work in small groups within our development team and/or trading teams to assist in building low latency applications, systems and trading tools
• You'll deliver well-scoped, self-contained projects within our established production codebase, learning to build new functionality that integrates cleanly with mature systems
• You'll use AI tools to accelerate your development while taking full ownership of the code you ship
