Job summary

Radley James is partnering with a growing quantitative investment firm to hire a Network Engineer in New York, Chicago or London. The role focuses on owning and evolving the global trading networks that connect researchers, engineers and live trading.

You’ll build low-latency networks, enable market data distribution and exchange connectivity, while scaling for GPU compute and high-performance storage. You’ll also drive automation as the team expands internationally.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of networking experience, including finance, fintech or HFT.
• Strong TCP/IP, multicast, BGP and VXLAN/EVPN knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Arista, firewalls and packet capture.
• Familiarity with Linux and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Build low-latency trading networks, market data distribution and exchange connectivity.
• Scale networks supporting GPU compute and high-performance storage.
• Support international expansion and drive network automation.
