Job summary

Cleartech Recruiting is partnering with a leading global fintech to hire a Software Engineer for Client Trading Infrastructure (Java) in NYC. You will work on proprietary, low-latency trading systems serving hundreds of clients across 19,000+ securities in 35+ countries.

You will design, build, and maintain high-performance trading platforms, improving scalability and reliability while collaborating on frontend and backend initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of distributed, scalable software development in Java or C++.
• B.S./M.S. in CS/CE or related field.
• Self-starter mentality with strong peer leadership and initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain proprietary low-latency trading systems and infrastructure.
• Build powerful trading tools that leverage a high-performance front-to-back system.
• Improve scalability and performance of the trading infrastructure.
• Work across a range of projects from frontend tooling to backend infrastructure.
• Understand future business needs and design technical solutions to meet them.
