Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a senior network engineer to design and optimize high-performance networks across data centres and cloud environments. You will lead complex upgrades from lab testing through deployment and build Python tooling to automate changes and improve reliability.

Apply your CCIE-level expertise and deep knowledge of BGP/OSPF/multicast/MPLS, mentor engineers, and influence architectural decisions for performance-critical financial services infrastructure.

Qualifications

• CCIE certification or equivalent proven expertise in network engineering.
• Extensive experience supporting business-critical networks.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, multicast and MPLS.

Location: New York or Chicago (4x per week onsite)

Salary: Up to 250k base + bonus ($500K TOTAL COMP IS POSSIBLE)

• Confidence owning projects and explaining technical decisions.
