Job summary

Atto Trading in New York is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable infrastructure for research and production trading. This role emphasizes less manual work and more automation to support a rapidly growing, international team.

You will troubleshoot across OS, storage, networking, and HPC clusters, automate provisioning, and maintain data storage, observability, and version-controlled configurations.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years Linux systems engineering or administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux internals and the networking stack.
• Scripting in Python and/or Bash.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Ansible.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker/Podman, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support low-latency trading infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot OS, storage, networking, and HPC clusters across teams.
• Automate server provisioning and configuration management.
• Maintain and scale data storage systems.
• Deploy and support containerized applications.
• Maintain observability and source control platforms.
• Coordinate with remote data center technicians on hardware installs.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base.
• Evaluate emerging hardware and software for trading and HPC.
