Job summary

DRW is seeking an FPGA Developer to join a fast-paced team of technologists and researchers. You will design, develop, test and deploy proprietary software critical to trading operations, focusing on ultra-low-latency strategies and exchange-adapter systems.

You will contribute across the stack, learn from mentors, and grow through a rigorous training program designed for rapid advancement in hardware-accelerated computing and data processing.

Qualifications

• Degree in EE/CE/CS/Physics/Math, graduating between Dec 2026 and Jun 2027 (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD).
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL and C, C++ or Python.
• Skills in data processing and algorithm development in RTL.
• Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Solid programming fundamentals and clear communication.
• Ability to articulate ideas within a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy proprietary software powering our business, including ultra-low-latency trading strategies and automated trading systems.
• Analyze and tune system performance to improve efficiency and speed.
• Collaborate with experienced teammates to implement bespoke solutions balancing speed, features, and cost.
