Job summary

A Nanny Match in New York, NY is seeking a full-time nanny for a 15‑month‑old boy on the Upper West Side. Start in early October 2026. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, 40 guaranteed hours per week. A baby girl joins in March 2027.

The family is collaborative and values warmth, active daily plans, reading, outdoor time, and limited screens. The nanny will eventually care for both children and support routines, meals, naps, and development with frequent update communication to the parents.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional nanny or relevant childcare experience.
• Demonstrated experience caring for a newborn and toddler simultaneously.
• CPR certified or willing to renew certification.
• Fully vaccinated.
• Highly reliable and punctual.
• Warm, playful, engaged, and communicative.
• Comfortable working closely and collaboratively with work-from-home parents.
• Respectful of the family’s parenting approach and household routines.
• Non-smoker.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Interested in a long-term commitment of at least 4 years.
• 2-3 valid references.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care
• Create and maintain consistent daily routines and schedules
• Plan engaging activities and outings, including playgrounds, museums, classes, playdates, and outdoor activities
• Support age-appropriate developmental milestones, learning, socialization, and independence
• Read and engage with the children throughout the day
• Prepare healthy meals, snacks, bottles, and other child-related food as needed
• Manage naps, diapering, dressing, hygiene, and other daily care
• Maintain children’s laundry, bedrooms, play areas, toys, and belongings
• Encourage age-appropriate participation in simple household routines, such as toy cleanup
• Assist with loading/unloading the dishwasher
• Keep children’s supplies stocked and organized
• Manage child-related appointments, activities, errands, and logistics as needed
• Maintain open communication with the parents and provide regular updates throughout the day
