Job summary

Eurest is seeking a Sous Chef I at the American Airlines Lounge DFW to lead culinary operations, oversee food preparation, and ensure adherence to client culture and health regulations. The role involves planning, ordering, inventory, and directing back-of-house staff to deliver high-quality meals in a corporate dining setting.

Qualified candidates bring 5 years of culinary experience with management exposure, strong leadership, and proficiency in MS Office; ServSafe is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of culinary experience including 1 year in a management role.
• Experience across restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related food service operations.
• Knowledge of food trends, quality, sanitation, safety, food-cost controls, and presentation.
• Ability to set up and distribute production sheets.
• MS Office and Excel proficiency.
• ServSafe or health department certification preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and participating in cooking and food preparation.
• Assist with planning and creating menus.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Assist with cost controls and budget management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
