Sodexo is seeking a Wait Staff Non-Tipped at AMERICAN AIRLINES - LOUNGES JFK for a full-time role. You will greet guests, take orders, and provide expert service for a range of menu items, including beverages, while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.

The position requires flexibility with shifts, physical stamina for long standing and lifting, and adherence to safety and service procedures. Training opportunities and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year related experience.
• If applicable, must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local city and state regulations.
• May require a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification, and must comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus, and introduce specials or menu changes.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine, and answer questions about menu items, allergens, and preparation.
• Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen, confirm orders with guests, and process them in the correct sequence.
• Check all items for quality and completeness, ensuring that presentations are attractive, appetizing, and consistent.
• Monitor guest needs, respond to requests, and address concerns or complaints with professionalism.
