Job summary

MGM Resorts International is hiring a Lounge Server at MGM Grand in Las Vegas to deliver exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced, high-energy lounge environment. You will engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and help create an exciting atmosphere reflecting the energy of MGM Grand.

The starting rate is $14.55 per hour. Ideal candidates are 21+ years old with a HS diploma or equivalent, and available to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience in a similar resort setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete opening side duties: napkins, glassware, stock, cleanliness of station.
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections on the casino floor.
• Know glassware and garnishes for drinks.
• Enter orders into the system and ensure transmission is verified.
• Be knowledgeable about hotel services and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries.
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority or refer to management; notify supervisor of unusual events.
• Completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required.
