The Lounge Manager will supervise the food service operation for the United Club lounge at ORD Airport, Chicago, IL. You will supervise hourly associates and support financial responsibilities to ensure top service standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree with 1–3 years of relevant hospitality experience, strong cash-handling knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office. This role offers a dynamic setting within Flik’s renowned hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant hospitality or food service experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related food service operations.
• Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ServSafe or Dept. of Health certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches associates.
• Plans, markets and executes special events/promotions in the cafe.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and cleaning standards.
• Operates within the budget and identifies ways to improve the business.
• Manages cafe operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches associates.
• Plans, markets and executes special events/promotions in the cafe
• Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards
• Operates within the budget and identifies new ways to improve the business
• Manages cafe operations
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations
• Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
• ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred
