Job summary

The Beaufort Hotel's 34° North Restaurant is seeking an experienced Lounge Bartender to join our friendly Food & Beverage team in Beaufort, North Carolina. You will craft cocktails and beverages, greet guests, and maintain a clean, organized bar in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong guest service skills, knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and liquor, and the ability to multitask. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential; prior bartending experience is

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and service standards.
• Accept and complete drink orders from guests and servers in an organized and timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar throughout each shift.
• Complete opening and closing duties including stocking, cleaning, and securing bar areas.
• Follow all cash handling, check handling, and credit card procedures.
• Ensure all alcohol service complies with company policies and applicable laws regarding identification and responsible alcohol service.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking beer, liquor, mixers, juices, and supplies.
• Replenish ice stations, glassware, and bar products as needed.
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and team-oriented atmosphere.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of floors, trash areas, and bar equipment.
• Communicate effectively with restaurant staff and management to support smooth operations.

Lounge Bartender – 34° North Restaurant at the Beaufort Hotel

The 34° North Restaurant located inside the Beaufort Hotel is currently seeking an experienced and outgoing Lounge Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for hotel guests and local visitors by providing exceptional service in a professional and upbeat environment.

We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with guests, works efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in delivering quality beverages and hospitality.

Compensation

• Estimated range is between $25 - $35 per hour (includes base pay and tips)
