Job summary

SodexoMagic is hiring a Bar Beverage Attendant to support the bartender at the AMERICAN EXPRESS LOUNGE in CLT. You will set up and maintain the bar, wash glassware, prepare garnishes using FIFO, and restock supplies to ensure smooth service for guests.

The role requires stamina to stand or walk for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and meeting minimum age requirements for alcohol service. Full-time position with varied shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year related experience.
• Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Collect empty glasses from the bar and wash glassware as necessary to ensure an adequate supply to serve customers.
• Prepares fresh garnishes for drinks employing the FIFO system.
• Restocks bar/designated station with supplies and transports supplies to bar set-up area.
• Anticipates and communicates replenishment needs.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar area, beer lockers, and refrigeration and storage areas to comply with health code standards.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, which may exceed 8 hours.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
