Job summary

The Department of Revenue, Regulatory Compliance division in Rhode Island seeks a Field Representative (Lottery) to promote lottery ticket sales via a daily field sales route, with merchandising at Retailer locations and regular retailer communications.

Qualified candidates must have five years of field sales experience, a valid RI/CT/MA driver’s license, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong computer proficiency; must lift up to 50 pounds and work Mon–Fri 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of field sales experience servicing established accounts.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work flexible hours.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Proficient computer skills required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds daily.

Responsibilities

• Promote Lottery ticket sales by managing a field sales route and daily retailer visits.
• Advise retailers on point-of-sale materials and provide game information.
• Ensure retailers comply with Lottery policies and procedures.
• Evaluate instant ticket inventory and plan retailer orders.
• Recruit new retailers and participate in promotions.
