Job summary

Fulcrum Data Center Services is seeking an experienced Energy Marshal to oversee Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures across its facilities in Iowa. You will lead program management, training, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe energy isolation.

You will conduct audits, develop updated LOTO procedures, investigate incidents, and collaborate with maintenance and operations to embed safety into daily work practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience managing Lockout/Tagout programs in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• In-depth knowledge of energy isolation principles, procedures and equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, ASP) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the Lockout/Tagout program across facilities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to energy isolation.
• Conduct regular training sessions on LOTO procedures for employees.
• Perform inspections and audits to assess effectiveness of LOTO procedures.
• Collaborate to develop and update LOTO procedures as equipment/processes change.
• Lead investigations into incidents related to energy isolation failures and implement corrective actions.
• Stay informed about changes in safety regulations and standards and align the LOTO program accordingly.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and safety teams to integrate LOTO into daily work practices.
