Job summary

Harley-Davidson - Central Texas HD is seeking an experienced Lot Technician/Company Driver to load/unload and pull trailers, and to help prepare motorcycles for display and sale. You will assist with shipments, keep the showroom and lot organized, and help ensure units are ready for pick up or delivery.

Requirements include experience in a powersports or automotive dealership, a non-CDL driver license, forklift experience (preferred), and the ability to move bikes up to 850 pounds; motorcycle

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or powersports dealership or auction environment.
• Non-CDL company driver with forklift experience (certification preferred).
• Must be at least 25 years old and able to move motorcycles up to 850 pounds.
• Motorcycle endorsement and riding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload motorcycles and trailers safely.
• Towing motorcycles up to 850 pounds.
• Arrange motorcycles in showroom and lot.
• Tag units as sold and assist with deliveries.
• Keep showroom and lot clean and organized.
• Complete pre-delivery checklists.

Harley-Davidson - Central Texas HDis looking for an experiencedLot Technician/Company Driver who is proficient at loading/unloading and pulling a trailer.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities include general merchandising tasks to make motorcycles ready for display/sale, such as washing/cleaning vehicles, keeping our facility looking beautiful, and assisting with facility activities such as shipments and deliveries. Lot Tech does not mind being on their feet most of the day, is a team player that will jump in and help with whatever task needs to be done!

Main Responsibilities:

• Towing 850-pound motorcycles
• Pulling company trailers
• Pull units in and out each day in a safe and appropriate manner
• Capable of arranging Motorcycles in our showroom and lot.
• Organize Motorcycles in the front lot and showroom
• Assist with tagging customers’ units as sold
• Keep units clean and dusted inside our showroom/building
• Wash and detail units to ensure they are ready for pick up or delivery
• Properly complete all pre-delivery checklists
• Receive parts or equipment orders from offsite as requested
• Keep the showroom and lot clean and tidy
• Assist with other duties as requested

Requirements:

• Experience working in an automotive dealership, powersports dealership, or auction environment a plus
• Experienced company driver (Non-CDL)
• Prior forklift experience (certification preferred)
• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Skillful and capable of moving large, heavy motorcycles (some up to 850 pounds fully dressed)
• Motorcycle endorsement and riding experience, preferred
• Ability to interact with customers, managers, and coworkers in a professional, courteous manner
• Excellent communication skills
• Trustworthy, Punctual, and Dedicated
• Ability to be on your feet most of the day
• Ability to work a 40-50 hour schedule, including Saturdays
• Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform job duties.
