Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years previous experience preferred.
• Good communication, organizational, time management, mathematical skills.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• General mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving; unload trucks and check in merchandise.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pull materials; pack boxes; place orders in delivery area.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves or in bins according to standards.
• Open bales, crates and other containers.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment; organize work area for orderliness.
• Perform routine light maintenance on equipment; wear safety equipment.
