Job summary

Arnold Machinery is seeking a Lot Tech - Material Handling to support shipping/receiving, organize stock, and prep orders. You will unload trucks, process requests, and place items for delivery while keeping the workspace tidy and safe.

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred with 1–2 years of experience; forklift ability is advantageous. The role emphasizes reliability, communication, and basic mechanical knowledge in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 yrs previous experience preferred.
• Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• General mechanical knowledge may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves or bins according to standards.
• Open bales, crates and other containers; prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and organize work area at all times.
• Perform routine light maintenance on equipment; wear proper safety equipment.

With the training we provide, the Field Service Technician helps Arnold to keep that standing.Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.Essential duties and responsibilitiesAssist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandisePrepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery areaSort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standardsOpen bales, crates and other containersPrepare parcels for mailingMaintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.
